KNEC Releases March 2025 Business and Technical Examination Results; Collection Procedures.

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released the results of the March 2025 Business and Technical examinations administered to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions across the country.

In a circular issued on 3 July 2025 and signed by KNEC CEO David Njengere, the Council has directed all Heads of Institutions that presented candidates for the examinations to collect the results from KNEC offices located at Mitihani House, South C, Nairobi. Results are available for collection during working hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

“All Heads of Institutions that offered candidates for the March 2025 Business and Technical examinations should collect the results,” KNEC stated.

KNEC has warned that institutions with outstanding examination fee arrears will not be allowed to collect the results until all dues are cleared in full. The Council will impose penalties on institutions that do not comply.

“Institutions with examination fee arrears should clear before collecting the results. Penalties will apply,” Njengere said.

Heads of Institutions are required to verify their candidates’ results promptly and submit any result-related queries within thirty (30) days of the release date. According to KNEC, all queries should be lodged through the online Query Management Information System (QMIS).

“All queries should be lodged through the online platform—the Query Management Information System (QMIS)—using the link provided by KNEC,” the circular states.

KNEC has also stipulated that queries submitted after 22 August 2025 will incur a penalty of Ksh 5,000 per case.
