KUCCPS Lists 30 KMTC Campuses as Support Centres Before July 7 Deadline.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has identified 30 Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) campuses across the country as support centres for applicants applying for the September 2025 intake. The announcement was made on Friday, July 4, before the application deadline of Monday, July 7, 2025.
In a statement, KUCCPS said applicants experiencing challenges in the application process can get support and guidance from KUCCPS officers stationed at the designated KMTC campuses. The exercise is meant to increase access to placement services for eligible applicants across all regions.
“Applying for KMTC September 2025 Intake? Remember the deadline is 7/7/2025,” KUCCPS said. The agency further advised, “Don’t get stuck. Visit the following KMTC campuses or any other KMTC campus near you for application support and guidance.”

The portal for the September 2025 KMTC intake was opened by KUCCPS on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. According to KUCCPS, the application window is open from June 24 to July 7, 2025.
In the statement, KUCCPS directed applicants to apply through the KUCCPS online system or visit any Huduma Centre across the country.Eligibility criteria for the application are candidates who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 2024 and have not applied before. Also, candidates who applied in the KUCCPS placement cycle between January and June 2025 but were not placed and all those who sat for KCSE between 2000 and 2024 and have never been placed at KMTC can apply.
Applicants can choose from 36 programmes offered under the KMTC training mandate. These are diploma and certificate level courses in various health disciplines.

- Diploma in Pharmacy
- Diploma in Public Health
- Diploma in Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine
- Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Diploma in Health Counselling
- Diploma in Health Promotion
- Diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing
- Diploma in Mortuary Science
- Diploma in Optometry
Certificate programmes to apply for:
- Certificate in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing
- Certificate in Medical Emergency Technician
- Certificate in Health Insurance Management
- Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics
KUCCPS said the placement will be done through its official portal and advised eligible candidates to apply within the stipulated time.
