Ministry of Agriculture Re-Advertises 27 Job Vacancies Ahead of October Deadline
The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development has re-advertised 27 job opportunities under the State Department for Agriculture, apply before October.
According to the notice dated September 30, 2025, the positions are under the Integrated Natural Resources Management Programme (INReMP), funded by the Government of Kenya and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
The programme aims to strengthen food, nutrition and income security for rural households and promote a sustainable and climate resilient ecosystem. Implementation will be in 10 counties within the Cherangany, Mau West and Lake Victoria Basin catchment areas with the coordination office in Eldoret City.

The ministry is looking to recruit both technical and support staff in various disciplines. Some of the advertised positions are:
- Programme coordinator
- Financial controller
- Procurement specialist
- Monitoring & evaluation specialist
- Natural resource management specialist
- Infrastructure specialist
- Agricultural livelihood specialist
- Agribusiness development specialist
- Nutrition & social inclusion specialist
- Cooperative development officer
- Knowledge management and communications officer
- Programme accountant
- ICT assistant
- Office assistant
- Drivers (5 posts)
Total 27 vacancies in administrative, technical and field support roles.

Separately, the Ministry of Public Service has advertised 100 positions for Driver II, CSG 15. Successful candidates will earn between KSh 19,340 and KSh 24,470 per month plus allowances and will be employed on permanent terms.
