Pastor T Mwangi Issues Prophecy of Assassination Attempts Targeting Babu Owino
Life Church International Limuru’s head pastor, Anthony Kahura Mwangi, has given spiritual covering to Embakasi East MP Babu Owino warning him of impending political dangers and possible assassination attempts.
During Babu’s visit to the church on Monday, September 8, 2025, Pastor Mwangi told the MP that despite the battles ahead, God will shield and sustain him.
“It won’t be easy. I see warfare and even attempts on your life. But I cover you because of the cry of the needy. Many can relate to your story and I declare that the hand of God will shield you,” said the pastor.
He warned that politics is a battlefield full of distractions that can derail leaders from their divine assignments. Mwangi told Babu to stay steady, reminding him that true success comes not from wealth, power or connections but from God’s favour.
“Politics has many battles. Sometimes we get consumed and forget the real assignment. God will lift you, Babu. No matter the level you reach, understand it’s not your network or money but the Lord’s favour that sustains you,” Mwangi added.
The pastor also commended Babu Owino’s leadership in Embakasi, citing his provision of bursaries to needy students, improvement of infrastructure and direct engagement with the community as examples of transformational service.
“What you have done in Embakasi is what the nation needs. It’s not rocket science—just consistent service to the people,” he said.
Beyond the warnings, Pastor Mwangi prophesied over Babu’s future, envisioning him as a unique figure in Kenyan politics—a man rising from humble beginnings in Kisumu to become a national leader who blends service, humility and faith.
“I pray the Lord takes you into realms of the supernatural where you clearly see His hand in your life. May you become a specimen in politics, a boy from Kisumu who laboured, rose to the top yet remained faithful to God,” he declared.
Mwangi concluded by telling Babu that his journey should be that leadership is possible without compromise and to stay obedient to divine instructions for continued elevation.
