The Jubilee Party candidate—who served as former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s enforcement powerhouse—embarked on an aggressive, boots-on-the-ground blitz across Migori County.
Taking his grassroots campaign to Kuria East, Matiang’i issued an uncompromising promise to disgruntled voters, vowing to sweep away current political failures and “fix our country.”
Speaking directly to local communities across Kugitimo, Gwitembe, and Senta, the former CS declared his national tour was the foundation of an unstoppable political surge.
In an explosive statement posted to social media platform X, Matiang’i wrote: “Today, we continue our conversations with the people of Kuria East as we visit Kugitimo, Gwitembe, and Senta.
“Our mission remains the same: to listen, to unite, and to build a movement that will restore hope and put Kenya back on the path of opportunity, justice, and prosperity.”
