Govt Announces Final Day of Overseas Job Recruitment in Nairobi and Mombasa

The Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection Dr Alfred Mutua has just announced that this Friday, October 31, 2025, is the last day for Kenyans to apply for overseas jobs in Nairobi and Mombasa.

Mutua posted about the deadline on X telling eligible Kenyans not to miss the boat before its too late: “The 31st of October marks the final day for recruitment in Nairobi & Mombasa, – check out the poster below for the details. Don’t let this chance slip through your fingers”

Using accredited agencies the government is making it possible for qualified men & women to apply for work in Dubai & Saudi – this is part of a bigger plan to increase labour export opportunities the safe way.

Jobs available in Dubai are taxi drivers, delivery drivers, warehouse workers, security guards, cleaners, waitresses, housekeepers – and construction jobs for masons & carpenters. Those who want to apply need to tick a few boxes – have to be 21 to 45 years old – and have the right qualifications.

Once selected – you’ll get a two year contract that can be renewed, you’ll have free housing, meals, medical cover, transport and overtime pay – all in line with UAE labour laws. In Saudi too you’ll get a similar deal – driving and mechanics are on the cards.

Interviews for the Dubai jobs will be on at the same time in Athi River in Nairobi and Mombasa in Nita. Basically bring your national ID, your academic & work qualifications, a passport, any work documents and a few snaps of yourself.

A little note on the costs – there is a mandatory fee for things like flights, medical checks vaccinations etc. Oh and get there early and bring your lunch – the government is keen to make sure people don’t come to these interviews and miss out on work abroad opportunities under fair conditions.

This last round of interviews in both Nairobi and Mombasa is the final round – and will conclude on Friday, October 31, 2025
