Prophet Claims Secret Alliance Could Undermine Ruto Government

Primate Elijah Ayodele Issues Stark Warning to President Ruto Over ‘Hidden Opposition Plot’ and Economic Risks

Nigerian cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele has issued a fresh warning to President William Ruto, cautioning that a covert opposition strategy and looming economic policy decisions could plunge Kenya into political and financial turmoil.

Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, claimed in a prophetic message released on Friday, April 24, that forces both داخل and outside government are quietly working to destabilise the administration through coordinated alliances and sustained political pressure.

The cleric, who has previously asserted he correctly predicted the outcome of Kenya’s 2022 General Election, said the potential formation of a united opposition coalition poses the most significant threat to Ruto’s leadership.

“Ruto needs to change his strategy because a strong opposition wants to form a coalition against him,” Ayodele said. “If these coalition forces come together, they may create serious problems for him in certain regions.”

Beyond the political landscape, Ayodele also raised concerns about the government’s economic direction, warning that proposed policy changes could trigger public backlash and deepen financial uncertainty.

“Traditional laws will be changed. The new economic policies the President intends to introduce could bring about a crisis,” he claimed. “There will be allegations of corruption and attempts to blackmail the government.”

The warning further pointed to internal divisions within the administration, suggesting that some of the challenges facing Ruto may originate from within his own ranks rather than solely from external opposition forces.

Ayodele also linked Kenya’s situation to a broader trend of political instability across Africa. He cited potential unrest in several countries, including South Sudan, where he warned of rising tensions and the possibility of a coup attempt, and Uganda, where he predicted resistance to a controversial succession plan alongside concerns over leadership stability.

Despite the grim outlook, the cleric maintained that President Ruto’s re-election prospects remain viable—provided the opposition fails to unite.

In an earlier prophecy issued in February, Ayodele stated that only a formidable and cohesive coalition could unseat the President, arguing that continued fragmentation among opposition leaders would give the incumbent a decisive advantage ahead of the 2027 General Election.
